Welcome to my blog!
At the moment I blog only in Finnish. However, this sub-site contains basic information about me to give you a clue who I am. If you’d like to ask something, just go to hakkiz.1g.fi and look for my Email address to drop me a line.
WHO AM I?
My name is Kimmo Pukkila. When online, I usually use nickname “Hakkiz”. It’s also my handle in the PlayStation Network. In Xbox Live, you can reach me with my tag “Hakso”.
I was born in June 1986 as the first child of my family. Five years later I got a little sister. I have lived most of my life in Koria, which is a nice little village about 100 kilometers north-west from the capital city of Finland, Helsinki.
In 2005, I finished my studies at the upper secondary school of Elimäki and passed the Matriculation Examination with fairly good grades. A local news paper rewarded me for special interest in the use of Finnish language.
I spent the first half of the year 2006 at the Finnish Defence Forces. In Finland military service is compulsory for every young man, although there are some other ways to fill the service during peacetime.
Next summer, after working a full year for a local transport company preparing Finlandia Vodka for the Russian market, I moved to Joensuu. There I continued my studies at the Department of Computer Science and Statistics of the local University.
MY INTERESTS
At the moment I’m keen on sports, literature, movies, music and especially video games. I own many games consoles and spend about 1-5 hours per day playing with them. I also write news, reviews, and such things for Gamereactor, which is the most popular games magazine in Scandinavia. Check it out even if you don’t understand our language.
Anyway, my computer literature is good and I have some skills in programming, photo editing and designing websites. I’ve also tried movie editing and 3D modelling.

Hello Hakkiz,
I’d like to use your picture, “tokyo_night.jpg” in a promotion for the digital 3D models I make and distribute on http://www.daz3d.com , a 3D hobbyists’ web site. It’s a very pretty picture, by the way.
I want to include your photo (in a slightly blurred form) as a background for one of my new characters. I can’t afford to pay you, but I can credit you if I use the photo. Would this be alright with you?
Thank you very much,
Tony Puryear
